I got to Arequipa early in the morning and started travelling on foot. I hopped on the same bus to the plaza and actually made it to the plaza this time. I wasn't really sure what to do or where to go so I stopped at a tourist place and got a map. Since I had my huge backpack I didn't go into many places, but I walked around the whole city pretty much. I saw lots of churches, beautiful architecture, the huge market, a beautiful park that I really wanted to sit in and read but it was locked, some awesome views, and random llamas. By the end of my walking tour I was beat and just wanted to sit...so I took a cab to the airport and was off to Tacna-Arica-Iquique. Who would have ever thought I would be excited to get back to Iquique?

Travelling on foot - Arequipa
The bus ride from Cusco to Arequipa was the most comfortable I have ever been on a bus. It was almost luxurious...like a plane ride. There was an attendant, and we got a meal, blankets, pillows, tea, and there was even internet. It was a much better experience than the first two bus rides.
