Exploring Santiago

I got to Santiago and made it to the hostel. Unfortunately however, I got there around 8am and check in wasn't until 1:30...so no nap for this girl! So I hung out for a bit before walking around the city and meeting up with my friend Valentina so she could show me around a little more. It's a big city and I thought I knew where I was supposed to meet her, but I got lost and ended up being 45 minutes late...whoops. We walked down the center with tons of shops, checked out the Plaza de Armas, la catedral, then climbed the little mountain in the middle of the city with a castle on top called Santa Lucia. I got a cell phone so that I could take more pictures (awesome) and get in touch with people, then I finally got to go sleep after getting some lunch before we met up again.
