New friends from strange places

The other day, I was running some errands downtown and stopped at the post office to get some stamps. While I was there, the girl that was helping me at the counter noticed that I was sending a postcard to the United States and asked what brought me to Iquique. I explained that I was an English teacher and she asked very excitedly if I could teach her English. I told her that I definitely could and we made plans to get together that night when she got off work to meet for a drink and talk. Then the next night we hung out again with her older sister Janna, her husband Alejandro, and her uncle. Her name is Coni...coincidence?

Michelada...a delicious drink mixing beer and lemon juice with salt on the rim. So refreshing!
