Lorena's family took me there and on the way we stopped at the museum of Pedro del Rio...a guy that bought all the land around there and built an awesome house, but when his wife died decided to travel the globe, collecting artifacts from almost every country in the world. His house is now a museum with all the stuff he brought back...including a mummy from Egypt! Pretty crazy that all that stuff ended up right there in Concepcion, Chile.

Desembocadura
Concepcion is a city situated right inside the Pacific coast, on a river called Bio Bio. The suburbs of Conce sprawl out to the peninsula into the ocean and right in the middle of it all is the river delta (the desembocadura), where the river opens up into the sea. It makes a really pretty park with a beach where people go to fly kites, camp, fish, and just hang out.
