On our stroll through Talcahuano, Lorena, Loreto and I ended up jumping on the last tour boat around the bay to learn about the military base, the bay, the sea lions, and the city. It was an awesome tour and a beautiful day...and we even had some on-board entertainment when some University Tunas hopped on the boat and serenaded us while sailed merrily along.
That blue, white, and yellow pole on the shore is the camera they used to get the miners out of the mine when they were trapped last year...pretty cool huh?
A Chilean Naval ship...the blue flag means that they are equipped to help you if you're stranded in the sea.
